Preparation and study of electrophysical properties of copper chalcogenides and their solid solutions

Description
Thermoelectric properties of the alloys of the A21B4 - A4B6 systems in the region of solid solutions existence depending on the composition and the temperature, are investigated. It is shown, that for the [Cu2Te(Se)]sub(1-x)[Ge(Sn)Te(Se)]sub(x) systems the increase of the A4B6 percentage content in the A21B6 results in increase of thermal - e.m.f., coefficient of thermoelectric efficiency and decrease of electric conductivity and thermal conductivity. It is established, that germanium and tin tellurides decrease of defects number in the Cu2Te and concentration of charge carriers. The polymorphous transformations, typical 702 copper chalcogenides are less pronounced in the solid solutions with germanium and tin chalcogenides
