Dextran destruction under the action of gamma radiation

Description
Dextran destruction (sigma) under the action of 60Co gamma-radiation within the dose range up to 0.39 MGy is studied. It is established that radiation-chemical destruction yield G/D constitutes 2.9±0.5 and 3.3±0.5 ruptures for 100 eV by irradiation in vacuum and in the air correspondingly. The yield values, accompanying destructions of hydrogen and reduction groups formation processes are also found
