Description
Interaction of the Re-C and Re-Al2O3 mixtures in the air at 1373 and 1473 K is investigated. Rhenium carbides and oxycarbides, as well as rhenium and aluminium complex oxides are formed during mixture annealing. One of the reasons of incomplete transfer of rhenium into a gaseous phase during oxidizing annealing is the formation of thermally stable compounds
