Classical plasma diffusion with rational magnetic surfaces

Description

The Pfirsch-Schlueter classical diffusion of a general stationary toroidal plasma with rational magnetic surfaces and anisotropic pressure is calculated. The effect of pressure anisotropy on the classical diffusion is studied. It is found that the classical diffusion depends on the direction of the neutral beam injection. (orig.)
