Experimental review on scalar and tensor glueballs
Description
In the past decades a lot of progress has been achieved in identifying the lowest lying bound states of strong gauge bosons, the so called glueballs. This report reviews the status of the quest of scalar and tensor glueballs. None of them has been definitely found yet. The scalar sector suffers mostly from the uncertainty of theoretical predictions, while the experimental situation there is quite reasonable. In the tensor sector the sitution is much worse, since even the distinction between the possible conventional states is not clear
