Fusion plasma theory. Task II. ECRH and transport modeling in tandem mirrors and divertor physics. Annual progress report, January 1, 1984-September 30, 1984

Description

The research performed under Tank II of this contract has focused on (1) the coupling of an ECRH ray tracing and absorption code to a tandem mirror transport code in order to self-consistently model the temporal and spatial evolution of the plasma, and (2) the further development of semi-analytical models for plasma flow in divertors and pumped limiters. Work on these topics is briefly summarized in this progress report
