Description

Low-lying levels of 72As have been studied by excitation function, γγ coincidence, and neutron time-of-flight measurements using the reaction 72Ge(p, n). A new isomeric state at 213.5 keV was found. The spin-parity and half-life of this level were determined to be Isup(π)=3+ and Tsub(1/2)=80(2)ns, respectively. The g-factor has been measured by the pulsed beam time-differential perturbed angular distribution method (DPAD) and found to be g = +0.527(6). (Auth.)
