Description

The influence of low energy oxygen ion implantation on the electrical conduction and optical properties of polyethylene and polyvinylcarbazole films is measured. It is shown that the optical absorption spectra and the dependencies of the activation energy on the fluence allows to identify the type of impurities. The fluence dependencies of electrical resistance demonstrate the hopping nature of conductivity in investigated film and can be used for determining of hopping transport parameters. (authors)
