Study on the two-particle rapidity correlations in K-p inclusive and semiinclusive reactions at 32 GeV/c

Description

The rapidity correlations between like and unlike charged particles were studied in K-p interactions at 32 GeV/c. It was found, that correlation function Csub(SR)sup(+-)(Ysub(1),Ysub(2)) has maxima at Y1=Y2 approximately equal to -0.8 and Y1=Y2 approximately equal to 1.2 and a dip in the central region, which dissapears for the pions with Psub(T)>0.3 GeV/c. Between Psub(T) of two like charged pions at small angle phi12 there were found positive short range interference correlations, which reach the maxima at the same rapidities, as correlation function Csub(SR)sup(++)(Ysub(1),Ysub(2)), Csub(SR)sup(--)(Ysub(1),Ysub(2))
