State of affairs in the discussion of marine disposal of radioactive wastes

Description
Regulations and the legal background referring to marine disposal are described. The paper discusses some of the material and political issues. The system consisting of prohibition and limits put forth in the London Agreement on Marine Disposal is assessed. The attitude of the Federal Government is discussed in brief. (DG)

Die Regelungen und rechtlichen Grundlagen, die sich auf die Meeresversenkung beziehen, werden dargestellt und einige materielle und politische Fragen diskutiert. Das System von Verbot und Schranken, wie es aufgrund des Londoner Uebereinkommens bei der Meeresversenkung besteht, wird bewertet und die Haltung der Bundesrepublik dazu kurz erlaeutert.
