HEAD NECK. Gliomas. Diagnostic performance of different MRI models

Description
Accurate grading and IDH genotyping have a significant impact on the diagnosis and post-therapeutic follow-up of gliomas. Conventional MRI has reached its limits in this regard. The study group prospectively compared the informative value of amide proton transfer imaging and of 4 models with diffusion-weighted imaging.

Das exakte Grading und die IDH-Genotypisierung beeinflussen maßgeblich die Diagnostik und das posttherapeutische Follow-up von Gliomen. Die konventionelle MRT stößt hierbei an ihre Grenzen.
