Dynamic CT of renal dysfunction

Dynamic CT can be performed using little amount (0.5 ml/kg body weight) of contrast medium and well demonstrates anatomicophysiological character of the kidney. It is superior to IVP in physiological evaluation of renal dysfunction as well as morphological evaluation. It may be especially useful in differentiation between renal vascular and parenchymal diseases. (author)
