Structural transition in YBa2Cu3O7

Description
Using x-ray and neutron diffraction it is shown, that a structural transition with a subgroup linking from the rhombic phase (sp. gr. D2h1) to tetragonal one (sp. gr. D4h1) is present in YBa2Cu3O7. Comparison of crystal structures of both phases is made. Transition mechanism and structural change effect on superconductivity are discussed
