When low energy = hard work

Over the past five years, part of the research program of the Electron Physics group at the Australian Naitonal University has involved low energy electron scattering experiments on molecular hydrogen, broadly referred to as 'swarm' and 'beam' experiments. The basic principles of these techniques and the equipment involved are briefly outlined. ills
