Method for 85Kr and 133Xe content determination in air
Creators
Description
Method for 85Kr and 133Xe content determination in the air is suggested. Separation and purification of concentrate and preliminary concentrating were conducted by the method of low-temperature adsorption on activated carbon at 153K. Design of the plant for absorption and separation of elements is presented. Measurements were conducted with the use of proportional counter with 21 cm3 sensitive volume designated for operation at 0.1-2 MPa pressures. Efficiency of 85Kr and 133Xe β radiation detection is not less than 80%
