Effect of motional magnetic fields on positroniumlike systems in polar media

An intense magnetic field is present in the reference frame of a bound electron-positron pair orbiting around an electric charge. The presence of this field could explain the experimental results recently obtained by Bisi and co-workers for the magnetic quenching of positron lifetime spectra in mylar
