Device for fuel assembly removal from a nuclear reactor
Description
A device for seized fuel assembly removal from a nuclear reactor core is suggested. To exclude the fuel assembly failure a grip element interacting with an outside sleeve fixing the device in open and closed positions is mounted at the end of a hollow rod. To remove adjacent deformed fuel assemblies the rod and sleeve are provided with slots that ensure their travel to the lowest position
