labeling and evaluation of some amine oxime derivatives of expected biological activities

Description

radiopharmaceuticals are preparations of adequately constant composition , radiochemical, radionuclidic purity and uniformity of physiological action for use in nuclear medicine as diagnostic aid or therapeutic agents. due to the favourable physical properties of technetium-99m for gamma camera imaging, it is today the most widely used radionuclide in nuclear medicine. the short half-life of 6.02 hr and the nearly pure 140 keV gamma emission in combination with the low dose rate constant of technetium -99m, make it suitable for labeling most organic molecules.our goal during this study, is the synthesis and labeling of some amine oxime derivatives with technetium-99m. the factors affecting the labeling process will be studied and the labeled complexes will be evaluated radiochemically and biologically in normal and tumor bearing mice
