Description
The formation of U + Pu accumulations was investigated in order to achieve the specific PUREX-process conditions. To this end, the parameters 'acid concentration in the fission product strip', 'holdup' and 'extractant flow' were varied. The simulation of the experimental results with the aid of the VISCO computing program has proved satisfactory provided that the experiments have reached the steady state; furthermore it was shown for the first extraction column that process disturbances could be detected early with the aid of temperature measurement. Abstract (German)
Fuer die bestimmungsgemaesse PUREX-Prozessbedingungen wurde die Ausbildung von U+Pu-Akkumulationen untersucht. Dabei wurden die Parameter Saeurekonzentration in der Spaltproduktwaschloesung, Holdup und Extraktionsmittelfluss variiert. Die experimentellen Ergebnisse koennen durch das VISCO-Rechenprogramm befriedigend gut simuliert werden, wenn die Experimente das Fliessgleichgewicht erreicht haben. Ferner wurde fuer die erste Extraktionskolonne gezeigt, dass mit Hilfe der Temperaturmessung auftretende Prozess-Stoerungen fruehzeitig angezeigt werden koennen. (orig./RB)Additional details
