Description
Solvation process of electrons in ionic liquid TMPA (Tf2N) is observed with femtosecond time-resolved near-infrared spectroscopy. The solvation process is markedly different from the solvation in water. Transfer of electron and hole from the host lattice to the dopant is observed for LaInO3:Pr3+ with picosecond time-resolved emission spectroscopy. Slower hole transfer controls the rise kinetics of the dopant emission. (author)
