Nonlinear excitation of magnetic fluctuations by lower-hybrid-drift waves
Description
It is shown that mode coupling of lower-hybrid-drift waves can generate magnetic-drift fluctuations in a nonuniform magnetized plasma. The suprathermal levels of magnetic drift wave turbulence can significantly affect the cross-field electron transport. (author)
