Preliminary study of loading patterns optimization without shuffling for equilibrium cycle of China experimental fast reactor

Description
The present loading pattern (LP) for equilibrium cycle of China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR) is based on expertise. The code for in-core fuel management of fast reactor, which was independently developed by author, was utilized in this paper to optimize the LP without fuel shuffling for equilibrium cycle of CEFR. The results of comparison between the present LP and optimized LP show that the LP is an optimum one which can meet the present design limits although it can still be improved, and the code for fast reactor is validated to be effective.
