Description

The paper presents the results of potentiostatic study of alloys of Pb-Cu system in NaCl electrolyte medium of various concentrations. It has been shown that adding up to 0.5 wt. copper to lead improves its corrosion resistance by 10-15%. In this case, all electrochemical potentials shift to the positive range. With increasing of NaCl concentration, electrochemical potentials shift to the negative area, and the corrosion rate of alloys increases by 15-20%. (author)
