Method and device for correcting position of movable in-core probe

Description

Purpose: To correct the position of TIP (movable incore probe) thereby retaining TIP on the same plane as LPRM (local power system). Method: The variation component of the power of an incore neutron detector (LPRM) fixed in the reactor core and the variation component of the power of the incore probe (TIP) continuously moving in the axial direction of the core are used to measure the correlation coefficients of the two power variation components by passing these components through specific frequency bands. At the same time, while measuring the position of the TIP, the positions where the correlation coefficients become largest are sought. (Aizawa, K.)
