Evaluation method for performance of support based on equivalent damping

Description

support system of specil equipment comprises damper and bearing, which provides rotor supporting and damping role, makes sure that machine passed smooth the critical frequency of system smoothly at startup and has enough safety margin under rotor work. At the same, when the rotor appears move due to brief impact to machine, such as flat, fired machine, power cuts, water stop, earthquake and so on, it makes system restore stability as soon as possible. The performance of damper contains mass and dumping coefficient, which is the ability for damper to absorb vibration power. The main performance of bearing is stiffness, which impacts on the vibration transfer from rotor to damper. The ability of vibration reduces and working frequency scope are studied by researching the whole support system. The optimal support system will be easily obtained by this way and the systematic design would be implemented. In this paper, support is equivalent to real part of equivalent stiffness and virtual part which is product of equivalent damping and frequency. Equivalent damping is a direct role on the outside damping of rotor, the instability of rotor is controled. Equivalent damping of support for specil equipment is calculated based on it. The measure method and equipment of damping performance are designed in this paper and equi valent damping curve following the vibration frequency is obtained though the characteristic of support's vibration are measured and calculated by DASP system.
