Isomorphism in the MgxMnyCozUO2(SO4)2 · 5H2O system

Description
Synthesis procedures are developed to prepare compounds featuring compositionMgxMnyCozUO2(SO4)2 · 5H2O (x + y + z = 1). The compounds are structurally studied using X-ray diffraction. A continuous substitutional solid solution series is shown to form in the ternary system. The standard enthalpies of mixing at 298.15 K were determined for the compounds using reaction calorimetry. A mathematical subregular ternary solution model was suggested
Abstract (Russian)
Разработаны методики синтеза соединений состава MgxMnyCozUO2(SO4)2 · 5H2O x + y + z = 1) и методом рентгенографии изучено их строение. Показано, что в исследуемой тройной системе образуется непрерывный ряд твердых растворов замещения. С использованием реакционной калориметрии определены стандартные энтальпии смешения полученных соединений при 298.15 К.
