Search of isoscalar dibaryonic resonances
Description
In order to demonstrate possible isoscalar dibaryonic resonances, missing mass spectra produced in the reaction dd→dX between 1.9 and 2.35 GeV have been measured for different incident energies and different scattering angles: 2.29 GeV - 25.50, 2.00 GeV - 270, 1.65 GeV - 290, 2.29 GeV - 40, 1.65 GeV - 40. The observation of such resonances should help to remove the ambiguity between true resonance and pseudo-resonance (coupling to the NΔ channel of the NN channel) which exists for the structures observed in the pp and πd systems. Experimental results were obtained at the Saturne National Laboratory with the SPES IV spectrometer. No narrow peak appeared in the measured spectra at the limit of 75 nb/sr (laboratory) observable. The comparison of the experimental results with a theoretical calculation of the purely nuclear contribution (dd→dpn) did not allow us to establish the existence of large isoscalar dibaryonic resonances

Dans le but de mettre en evidence d'eventuelles resonances dibaryoniques isoscalaires, les spectres en masse manquante produits dans la reaction dd→dX entre 1.9 et 2.35 GeV ont ete mesures pour differentes energies incidentes et differents angles de diffusion: 2.29 GeV - 25.50, 2.00 GeV - 270, 1.65 GeV - 290, 2.29 GeV - 40, 1.65 GeV - 40. L'observation de telles resonances devait contribuer a lever l'ambiguite ''vraie resonance ou pseudo-resonance'' (couplage de la voie NN a la voie NΔ) concernant les structures observees dans les systemes pp et πd. Les resultats experimentaux ont ete obtenus au Laboratoire National Saturne aupres du spectrometre SPES IV. Aucun pic etroit n'est apparu dans les spectres mesures dans la limite de 75 nb/sr (laboratoire). La comparaison des resultats experimentaux a un calcul theorique de la contribution purement nucleaire (dd→dpn) ne nous a pas permis de mettre en evidence l'existence de resonance dibaryonique isoscalaire largeFiles
