Isoscalar giant dipole resonances of 160 and 40Ca nuclei
Description
Form factors and transition charge density (TCD) of giant dipole resonances of 16O and 40Ca nuclei, isospin-forbidden, are calculated on the basis of the sum rules taking into account centre-of-mass motion and modified Steinvedel-Jensen (SJ) model. The calculated results are compared with electron scattering form factors and model-independent (in case of 16O) TCD. The SJ model is in good agreement with the experimental TCD. The reduced dipole resonance transitions with T=0 are rather negligible (∼ 10-3 e2Fm2) and transition radii are twice as great as root-mean-squared values
