Description
Present article is devoted to chlorination of boron containing ores by mixture of gaseous chlorine and sulfur chlorides. The low temperature chlorination of initial calcined danburite ore of Ak-Arkhar Deposit was studied. The analysis results of initial materials and reaction products of decomposition of danburite ores by gases mixture were confirmed by means of X-ray phase method, differential-thermal analysis and infrared spectrometry analysis. The optimal conditions for chlorination of calcined danburite ore, including chlorination temperature, process duration and particle size were proposed.
