Ultrasonic annealing of point defects in solids
- 1. Kievskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (Ukrainian SSR)
Description
The possibility of decreasing point defect concentration in a crystal under ultrasonic treatment is studied. The studies were carried out with KB2 monocrystals with F-centres produced by γ-radiation and with neutron-doped p-type Si. Longitudinal acoustic waves of 2.16 MHz frequency were introduced into the samples by means of external piezoceramic converters. Decrease of point defect concentration in solids under ultrasonic treatment is found as a result of the investigation
