Description
Tumours with a relatively high degree of differentiation are assumed to repopulate more vigorously than less differentiated ones because like healthy squamous epithelial cells they are capable of a regulated proliferative response to damage. In a series of experiments on nude mice three different human squamous epithelial carcinomas were examined in terms of their repopulation kinetics and of the time factor of fractionated radiotherapy
