Description

X-ray diffraction investigation of the K4(H3O)x[Tm(Ttpm)2]x17H2O complex, where (Ttpm) is anion of (O8P4N4H4)4- tetrametaphosphimic acid is carried out. The crystals are monoclinic: a=18.M66(3), b=11.063(2), c=19.165(4) A, #betta#=94.84(4) deg, rho(calc.)=2.11, rho(meas.)=2.05 g/cm3, Z=4, sp. gr. C2/c. The crystals are constructed from [Tm(Ttpm)2]5- complex anions, potassium cations and crystal water molecules. Having the crown conformation, the both (Ttpm) groups are joint to Tm ion by means of oxygen atom and play part of tetradentate-terminal ligands. Closing of eight six-membered metal-cycle with conformation as armchair takes place at it. Coordination polyhedron of Tm atom is almost regular antiprism. The average values of the bond lengths are as follows: Tm-O 2.344(8), P-N 1.679(10), P-Osub(coord.) 1.492(8), P-Osub(termin.) 1.502(8) A. Branch system of the hydrogen bonds is presented in the structure
