Radiological Dose Assessment Resulting from the Routine Releases of Daeduk Nuclear Facilities (2009 Annual Report)
Description
The objective of this report is to assure the public acceptance for health detriment resulting from the routine releases of radioactive effluents from the nuclear facilities including HANARO research reactor located at Daeduk site. Maximum off-site individual doses were evaluated to identify the regulatory compliance for the management of radioactive effluents as presented in the MEST's Notice. Moreover, collective doses within radius 80 km from the site were evaluated. As a result, radioactive effluents for the nuclear facilities were well managed in 2009, subsequently the radiation-induced health detriment for residents around the site was negligible
