Determination of the bulk activities of the radon and thoron conversion products by filtering
Description
The contribution describes the method of simultaneous determination of the volumetric activities of the radon and thoron conversion products in their mixed field by means of sampling of the investigated air to the filter. Results from one-time radon chamber rejections are compared to the REP filter results. REP is a device developed by the State Institute of Radiation Protection located in Prague and designed for continuous measurement of the volume activities of the radon and thoron daughter products.
