Contribution to the coordination chemistry of technetium II. Complexes of technetium(I) with selected ligands containing N,O and S donor atoms

Description
The universal use of radiopharmaceuticals labeled with 99mTc has led to the development of many Tc complexes containing 99mTc4+ or 99mTc5+. In order to assess the correlation between the physiological properties and the chemical structure of a 99mTc complex, milligram amounts of the corresponding long-lived 99gTc compound have to be synthesized and analysed. This report describes the synthesis and characterization of several new technetium complexes with ligands containing N, O and S as donor atoms. (author)
