Tentative thermal calculation of a radioactive waste disposal facility. Part I
Description
The method of thermal calculation of a radioactive waste disposal facility is outlined, and the results of a tentative treatment of a facility for spent fuel assemblies from the Dukovany NPP are given. The impact of a permanent disposal facility on the environment is examined with respect to the Earth's surface temperature increase. Based on the calculations for particular disposal container types and for a specified limiting temperature, basic concepts of the disposal facility (adit spacing, hole spacing in adits) are proposed.
