Description
The change of magnetic susceptibility of binary copper alloys with zirconium and magnesium depending on chemical composition and state after melt quenching with high cooling rates and also depending on the conditions of hardened alloy tempering has been studiea. It is shown that of copper alloys in amorphous state high magnetic susceptibility is characteristic, which exceeds by at least one order its value for alloys in crystal state. Relative stability of the amorphous state in precrystallization temperature range with preservation of high values of magnetic susceptibility opens up possibilities for the use of copper amorphous alloys in instrument making as materials with specific magnetic properties
