Radiolysis of 1,1-dichlor-1,2,2-trifluoroethyltrichloromethyl ether (C3F3Cl5O)
Description
Accumulation of F- and Cl- ions has been studied at γ-radiolysis of individual C3F3Cl5O in the composition of two-phase (H2O, 2n. HNO3) mixable systems in the presence of TBP. To determine F- and Cl- ions, the method of potentiometry with ion-selective electrodes is used. The dose absorbed is as high as 1.4 x 1021 eV/cm3. Accumulation of Cl- ions on irradiation of all the systems investigated is proportional to the dose absorbed. No linear dependence has been detected for F- ions. In the presence of TBP in two-phase systems, the total yield of haloid ions considerably decreases
