Modification of Nogami procedure in constrained Hartree-Fock method

Description

It is found that in the constrained Hartree-Fock (CHF) method the Lagrange multiplier calculated using Nogami iterative procedure does not satisfy the variational condition. In this paper the cause of the failure is analysed and the modifying methods are presented. The solution of some CHF problems are obtained and compared with the exact and HF solution
