Description
A systematic method is presented for the interference of the wave function corresponding to a many-body ground state, on the basis of a limited amount of information. The proposed scheme, based on the maximum entropy principle, is also suitable for the construction of least biased approximations for ground states via variational constraints. Results indicate that excellent predictions, of a definitely higher quality than those yielded by projected mean field approaches, can be attained with just a small set of either relevant expectation values or variational parameters, even in transitional regions.
