Nuclear lifetimes in the region of 10-16 sec measured by a new technique

A new technique exploiting proton: x-ray coincidences has been used to measure 10-16-sec lifetimes of proton-unstable levels in 69As produced in the electron-capture decay of 69Se. The results are compared with statistical-model calculations
