Stability of triple solitary waves and effects of inhomogeneities
Description
It is shown that triple solitary waves are stable if the group-velocities of two hyperbolic-secant type waves are different and that even in weakly inhomogeneous plasmas triple solitary waves propagate with their phases varying so as to cancel the phase mismatch due to the inhomogeneities. (author)
