On magnetosonic and Alfven waves generated by a plasma cloud expending into cold magnetized plasma

Description

Main purpose of the article is to explore Alfven and magnetosonic waves propagation in cold gyro tropic magnetized plasma. For small but finite parameter ω/ω1 of external plasma dielectric tensor (where ω1, ω are ion gyro- and wave frequencies) the interaction between Alfven and magnetosonic waves is occurred. The interaction causes the waves to propagate along magnetic line at large distances from extending plasma cloud
