Description
Interaction of ruthenium (>= 4) compounds with unithiol, depending on the nature, concentration of acids, reducing agent, unithiol, ruthenium, foreign substances, solution temperature, heating time, is studied. The optimum formation conditions, composition and optical properties of ruthenium unithiolates are determined. Spectrophotometric method of ruthenium determination with unithiol is developed, which provides a higher sensitivity (epsilon sub(unt) x epsilon sub(tho) > 3) and selectivity, as compared wih the known thiocarbamide method
