Universal intermittency in three dimensions and collective correlations in nuclear collisions
Description
The recent preliminary data on multiplicity moments in three-dimensional phase-space bins are shown to exhibit simple universal features when analysed in terms of cumulants. In particular, the comparison of data for hadron-hadron and hadron-nucleus collisions suggests that the observed very short range (singular?) correlations are a collective effect. (orig.)
