Nuclear physics with low energy accelerators in India

Creators

Description

The nucleus still holds many secrets even though it has been under scrutiny for the past eight decades. Some of these are: the nature of the nuclear interaction, manifestations of the different collective degrees of freedom, limits of stability of nuclei and the origin of elements. In this lecture I shall discuss some of the outstanding problems that can be studied using low energy accelerators in India. (author)
