Development of a model for the estimation of the collective dose resulting from the use of nucleonic gauges
- 1. Radiological Physics and Advisory Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (India)
Description
Individual dose to persons working in the vicinity of nucleonic gauge installations is very low and cannot be accurately measured. Hence the dose has to be estimated by theoretical methods. This paper discusses a dosimetric model considering all phases of use of nucleonic gauges. Estimation of collective dose would be necessary to determine the dose commitment due to this practice.
