Sr-Y phase diagram

Description
With the aid of microstructure, X-ray phase, and differential-thermal analyses, the phase diagram is studied of Sr-Y. It is established that in this system the melt becomes stratified at Y content of 11.6 to 81.3%. Yttrium solubility in strontium in the solid state at 740 deg C is equal to 0.22 at.%, and that of strontium in yttrium at 1085 deg C, to 6.40 at.%
