Description
The applications of radiation chemistry and physics in the chemical, rubber, plastics and semiconductor industries are summarised, based on electron irradiation. Uses in sterilisation of water and medical products are also listed. Electron accelerators and gamma cells are described and the problems of producing homogeneous distribution of intensity are mentioned. (G.M.E.)
