Progress in management of radioactive waste at QNPP-Ⅱ

Description

Comparisons are made among radioactive wastes system operation, management of the waste stream discharging and low and intermediate level wastes management from 2002 to 2005. As well, comparision is made of the waste volume from Qinshan phase Ⅱ with those from the other nuclear power plant. In addition, the progress in the field of the waste management in Qinshan phase Ⅱ is described. The problems that need to be resolved in the future are analysed. Additionally, the suggestions is given to minimizing the radioactive wastes. (author)
